Snapshots from wednesday’s show, taken with my S90.
they are a little bit photoshopped. maybe.

It Hurts So Good

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

I just watched The Hurt Locker, this year’s best picture. I finally understand what all the fuss was about. Congrats to Kathryn Bigelow for beating her ex-hubby James Cameron at his own game.
by game I mean making great films, not money. OBVIOUSLY.
I searched online for a good poster, but couldn’t really find one I liked. This one is pretty good, but a little text-heavy. So I tried to make one myself. It’s not perfect but it’s better than this crap.

Oscars: Who cares? (HINT: NO ONE)

Monday, March 8th, 2010

In true Oscar tradition, roughly 99% of my picks to win, lost. I really did not expect The Hurt Locker to out-win Avatar six to three, including Best Picture!
Guess I should go watch it now…
