Concerning Egyptians, I think they were on the island some time before the others got there, they possibly used it as a place of worship because of its supernatural power. I, for one, am not so big on the Egyptian guy liner theory. I think it would be kind of boring if Richard were just an immortal Egyptian- unless he were some sort of god (R.A.?), that would be cool. Elana, I think you're right on with the Tunisia thing. It is obviously an exit, and I think it's an entrance too. They even showed a well in a deleted scene after Ben's first Tunisian teleport back in season 3 I think. Ben is absolutely on the island, and to not see him would be a rip off.
